Our servers are co-located in a state-of-the-art data center located in Atlanta, GA featuring redundant UPS, redundant generator backups and smoke detection/fire protection systems. Both locations are under 24/7 camera surveillance and armed guard patrol. We use biometric and proximity scan security controls to gain access to our equipment. The facility runs a state-of-the-art 10 gig Metro-E ring to Telx and can cross-connect to anyone in the building. Additionally, anyone on AGL Fiber can connect here; we are a lit building for AGL, Cogent, and AT&T. |
Sitting on one of AGL's main fiber backbones, the Atlanta NAP operates a multiple 10 Giga Ethernet connections back to key communications centers in Atlanta. Dark fiber is available to most areas in the city as well many large carriers are on net at the facility. We have co-location in Telx at 56 Marietta with a Gigabit Ethernet metro cross connect in our cage to any one of the more than 100 carriers located in the Telx building. The facility also has a lit fiber segment to Level3 at 345 Courtland which was engineered to not touch or come near Telx for disaster purposes to ensure that the facility is not single homed to an single network failure point which makes it unique among most co-location providers. |
